The Chef

Elijah Milligan grew up in Philadelphia, Pa, where he discovered his love for cooking at a young age. Getting a taste of the industry at the age of 14 through a family owned restaurant, Elijah realized his passion and future were behind a stove. After attending culinary school, Chef Milligan worked his way up in the restaurant world gaining valuable experience at notable restaurants on both coasts such as Petit Crenn, Le Bec Fin, Angele, Vernick and Bottega to name a few. Since returning home to Philly, after a 4 year stint in California, Elijah has been involved in, as well as started several community based projects and events highlighting and targeting a variety of different issues and agendas throughout the city. Currently Chef Milligan keeps busy with with a handful of culinary driven projects and establishments. During the pandemic Chef Elijah created Greenwood Supper Club, a social club inspired by the late Black Wallstreet, where he uses the platform to create intimate, unique and innovative culinary and dining experiences. Still in the “popup” phase, the GSC team are looking to open its first brick and mortar in Philly in 2022.
